My ambitious list of projects is only going to get done if I have help! So I went out a bought a mechanical friend: a Kubota RTV 500. It is shown here in front of the cabin shortly after it was delivered by Parsons Tractor in Kalispell. I needed to know right away if it could get down to the beach and I wanted to park it where Betty could see it on the webcam.It is a very capable little machine, the dump bed will be handy for hauling gravel and dirt. Right away I wanted to put it to work. The firepit on the beach was overflowing with ashes, so I cleaned it out and put the ashes in bags and bins in the back of the Kubota. Yes folks, this little rig can really haul ash.
I love that little vehicle! We could use one ourselves but I doubt they're available here. Or, if they are, cost 10 times as much!
